Happy New Year!! I hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday week. Ours has been busy and wonderful (it was great to have all the kids and grandkids here). To be honest though, I’m kind of looking forward to getting back to a normal schedule, and part of getting back to normal is scheduling new blog posts for 2016.
Since it’s New Years Day, I thought this would be a great time to share with all of you a free printable 2016 calendar that I made for my own blogging binder. I’m hoping that it’s something that you might find helpful for the new year.

At the beginning of 2015, I shared with all of you a new blog planner system that I was going to try. I’m happy to report, one year later, that I’ve actually been scheduling my blog posts each month on my blog calendar!
It’s been great to be able to write down blog post ideas for each month – sometimes even two months! It really helps me keep my thoughts organized and let’s me know which projects I need to work on.
One of the best things about the calendar system that I’ve been using is the post-it flags. I use a different colored one for each category of blog post, so I can easily tell if I need more or less of a certain category just by looking at the colors of the post-it flags.
It’s been great to be able to write down blog post ideas on a post-it flag, and then add it to the calendar. The best part is if I change my mind about when I want to publish a post, I just easily switch it on the calendar.
Then when a post is written and published, I take the post-it flag off and write the title of the post on the day it was published.
In last year’s post I shared that I had found this blogging organizational system and calendar on a great site called Sew Much Crafting. Unfortunately, she has not done a new calendar for 2016, so I decided to try making a new 2016 calendar for my blog binder myself.
It wasn’t as hard as I thought it might be, and the best part is that I can share it with all of you!
I’ve made a free printable calendar for each month of the year. Great for planning out the year for your blog or for personal use! So, if you’d like a calendar for the new year, just click the link below!
