Last year, I wrote a post about how to decorate a Christmas tree, and in the post I talked about how our artificial Christmas tree lights were not working very well.
As you can see, it was quite a problem! Trying to fix the strands of lights that weren’t working didn’t work, so I ended up buying some strands of lights and adding them to the tree.
Also, our old artificial Christmas tree is quite large and heavy, and it was getting harder and harder for us to drag it up from the basement. So, a smaller tree seemed like a good idea!
I’ve been hearing great things about the Balsam Hill Christmas trees for a couple of years, so I decided to check them out. Their trees are more expensive, but I’m hoping that the tree will hold up better over the years than our old tree.
I’ve created a video that shares the unboxing and set up of our new Christmas tree from Balsam Hill.
We ended up buying the Balsam Hill Sanibel Spruce Christmas tree. It had very good reviews, and came in the 5′ size that we wanted. It’s also in the most realistic category. I love the color of the needles and how realistic the branches look!
The tree was very easy to set up! Our 5″ tree only weighs 21 pounds, and comes in two sections. It took just a few minutes to set it up. The most time was spent on fluffing the branches, but I expected that.
I’m happy with the tree that we bought. The only thing that I would have liked better is for the tree to have more lights on it. I like a lot of lights on our Christmas tree! But, our reflective Christmas decorations make the tree look brightly lit.
I hope you enjoyed this look into our new artificial Christmas tree from Balsam Hill!
