One day while browsing around on Pinterest I saw this cute color coding game which uses paint chips. I have LOTS of paint chips laying around from client’s and my own projects, so this was a fast and easy project to make for my grandson. It originally was posted by Shannon at Tot School. She has a lot of great kid’s activities on her blog.
My grandson is 3 years old, and has been color coding things himself for quite awhile. For instance he will put all of the green magnetic letters together on the side of the refrigerator, or all of the same colored legos together. So, this game is perfect for him.
I had all of the supplies handy- paint chips (2 of each color), clothes pins and glue. I just cut little squares from one set of each color, and glued them onto the clothes pin. Easy!
My grandson liked the game , but his favorite part of it was standing all of the clothes pins up in a row!
Try this easy color coding game if you need an activity for an indoor play day.
I’m partying here!
