My Craftsy Class
I’ve had the honor and privelege to teach a Craftsy class myself. Custom Bedding – Decorative Shams & Bolsters. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d like to share with you a little bit about my class.

Here’s a short promo video about my class:
I love to sew pillows, so I was thrilled to be asked to teach this class about bedding pillows. In the class, I’ll show you how to make three different types of bedding pillows. You’ll learn many tips and techniques that you can use for lots of other sewing projects.
We cover hand sewing pillows closed, inserting zippers in pillows, how to make knife-pleated ruffles and cording. I’ll also show you how to cover a button with fabric and how to tuft the buttons at each end of the bolster pillow with no needle, and much more!

I recently purchased my first DSLR camera. I do love my new camera, but there is definitely a learning curve to using it in manual mode! While I’m still a novice, I have learned a lot about photography and photo editing from these great Craftsy classes.
Furniture updating: I’ve been doing a lot of furniture painting and re-finishing lately, and Craftsy has two classes that are very helpful if you’ve got a piece of furniture you would like to update.
