Recently we spent some time at the beach in Florida. We had a few nice days, but there were a lot of cold rainy days too. (I know boo-hoo for me!) I actually felt guilty being upset by the cold and rain, when back in Illinois everyone was struggling through snowstorms and bone-chilling cold temperatures. One rainy Saturday, we decided to go to a couple of open houses that were close by. You may remember my love of going to see other peoples houses from this post.
I’m going to share some pictures from one of the open houses. This villa is in one of our favorite neighborhoods in the area. It’s very close to the beach, and has a lot of beautiful foliage and trees.
The owner of the home recently renovated the home, and it was very nicely decorated. All of these pictures were taken from Zillow with permission from the owners.
My favorite part of the house was the main living area/dining area and kitchen. The kitchen walls that were removed to open up the kitchen to the dining/living area.
I love so many things about this white kitchen. Notice the white appliances? The backsplash and ceiling are wood planks. Fantastic! Look at the great farmhouse sink too.
My favorite part of the kitchen was the cabinets with the glass fronts. They were lighted and the back walls were painted in a beautiful blue/green. The photo does not do the paint color justice.
This wall that leads to the living area is painted in the same color. Love it with the white trim.
The cute dining table and chairs that are in between the kitchen and living area. The floors were a great ceramic tile that looked like wood planks.
Here’s a close-up look at the television wall. I love how they have framed the TV.
The master bedroom. Beautiful bedding!
Master bath. The shower tile and river rock floor were very nice.
The guest bathroom. They trimmed out the tile around the sink area, and I may have to use that idea in our hall bath!
The guest bedroom was very soothing.
If you would like to see more pictures from this cute house, here’s the listing on Zillow.
Do you like to go to open houses? We don’t go very often, but when we do I love seeing how each house is decorated.
I’m joining these parties.
