Hello friends! It’s been a while! I hope you had a fabulous holiday season! Today I’m sharing what my word for 2019 is, and also a little bit about what I’ve been up to the last few months.
While I love the fresh start of a new year, I’m not usually a person who picks a word for the new year. This year though, I decided that one word was particularly important for me to keep in mind every day.
That word is BALANCE.
My life was NOT in balance in 2018, which caused some problems. Problems with my health, and just feeling really burned out by the end of the year.
So, some things are changing this year. Life needs to get simpler.
I’ll still be blogging here, that’s for sure. I’ve missed working on this blog, especially the creative part of sharing projects with you!
But, I am stopping some big projects that I worked really hard on this year, which should simplify my life.
I’ve created a video to share with you what’s been going on this past year, and a sneak peek at some of the new blog posts and videos I’ll be sharing in 2019.
So, here’s to a more balanced life in 2019!
Do you choose a word to represent your life in the new year? If so, please share it in the comments below!
I have missed your daily finds of great decorating items. Thanks for updating your blog. I wish you the best this year and you are right with balance. I find myself doing everything and reading everything but my devotional in the mornings. I have started a new Bible study and it keeps me focused. Adorned by Nancy Demoss Wolgemeth. Starts my day off right.
Look forward to your blogs!
Sara, yes, I need to get back into the daily deals. I’m so glad that you like them! Sounds like a great way to start your day!
Thanks for sharing your story with us! BALANCE is a great word to live with. My word is HARMONY.
Have a balanced day! Have a balanced year! Have a balanced life!
Thanks Elena! I love your word too! Happy New Year!
Good to know your word of the year is BALANCE. I think we all need balance in our everyday lives. My word of 2019 is INSPIRE.
Great word for the year!
